The IVS intelligent video surveillance system is a breakthrough technology built into the newest generation of IP security cameras. IVS includes smart features such as: Tripwire, Intrusion, Abandoned Object, and Missing Object.

In this article, let's take a closer look at the IVS technology features on KBVISION cameras.

Tripwire Feature

Tripwire is a superb solution for strengthening security through motion recording and object detection. With Tripwire, you can draw a line across a door, window, or any other place where you want to be notified when an object crosses.

Intrusion Feature

Similar to Tripwire, the Intrusion feature also detects when someone or something enters or crosses a defined area. However, instead of just a straight line, you can draw any shape you like.

This is an excellent function for places such as parking lots, warehouses, or stores — anywhere you want to beef up security in a specific zone.

Abandoned Object Feature

This feature lets you draw an area that you need to watch constantly and where you don't want foreign objects to appear. The abandoned object feature is perfect for installation in places such as streets. To take a concrete example, the system will send an alert to your phone when a bag of trash someone left behind suddenly appears in the area. Later on, you can observe and know about it, curbing people's habit of dumping trash outside designated spots.

Missing Object Feature

The Missing Object feature works effectively in situations where you may want to be notified when an object in an area goes missing. It's well suited to warehouses or stores where there are important items you want to keep an eye on.

In addition, there is the SMD (Smart Motion Detection) function, integrated with the IVS functions, which helps the system distinguish the movement of people and vehicles, reduce false alarms, and support fast, accurate searches for subjects.

All IP camera products from KBVISION's C series come with IVS technology built in — customers can consider them for the best possible security camera system.

IVS is an advanced technology and the wave of the future. It will assist or replace guard personnel, supporting the operators who monitor camera systems on screen, and boosting security control in critical areas.

We hope this article helps you better understand IVS technology on KBVISION security cameras. If you need any further information, we're always happy to help.
